New Slate Roof Installation in Derbyshire

SEI Roofing completed this full re-roofing project on two adjoining terraced properties in Derbyshire, replacing the existing roof coverings with high-quality natural Spanish slate specified by the customer.

The Challenge

The existing Ludlow Major roof tiles had reached the end of their serviceable life. The customer wanted to upgrade to a natural slate roof that would provide a traditional appearance along with long-term durability and weather protection.

Our Solution

The existing Ludlow Major tiles were carefully stripped from both terraced properties before installing new 20" x 10" natural Spanish slate in accordance with the customer's specification.

As part of the project, all four chimney stacks were re-leaded with new flashing and re-pointed to improve weather resistance and ensure a high-quality finish.

The Result
