SEI Roofing recently completed a lead cladding project to the parapet walls of a residential property in Rolleston-on-Dove.
The existing parapet walls were allowing water to penetrate the masonry, creating a risk of moisture entering the cavity and causing damp within the property. To provide a long-lasting weatherproof solution, our team carefully clad the parapets in high-quality lead, creating a durable barrier against the elements while maintaining a neat, traditional finish.
Parapet walls are one of the most vulnerable areas of a roof. Without effective protection, rainwater can penetrate the brickwork and enter the wall cavity, leading to damp problems and costly repairs.
This property required a permanent solution that would both protect the structure and complement the existing roof.
Our team:
The completed lead cladding now provides robust protection against water ingress while significantly improving the appearance of the parapet walls.
Lead remains one of the most durable roofing materials available and, when installed correctly, can provide decades of reliable weather protection.
