SEI Roofing was appointed to complete the roofing works for a small development of approximately five new build bungalows in Derbyshire.
The project involved installing the new pitched roof coverings across the development, creating a consistent, high-quality finish across each of the newly constructed properties.

Reroof two semi detached properties - Utilising original tiles
Location: Burton on Trent
Re roof to two semi detached properties utilizing the original tiles. Once stripped the roof was insulated, battened and re-felted.

New Tiled Slate Roof - Cardinal Slate
Location: Warwickshire
A bespoke job with which required alot of attention to detail. The slates are cardinal slates which give an old authentic look to a modern building. Each course diminished in width and length from eve to ridge.

Re-roof

The roofs were stripped back, lath and felted and completed with new slates.

FLAT ROOF - MINERAL FELT

A flat roof that has been stripped and replaced with new mineral felt.

Removal of Dormer Window
Location: Derbyshire
The customer requested the dormer window to be removed from the roof.

The dormer was dismantled and new rafters were applied to the roof, covered with felt and lath.
The exposed roof area was tiled in with tiles to match the existing roof.

Grade 2 Listed Building - SLATE ROOF
Location: Coton in the Clay, Ashbourne, Derby
The customer had numerous leaks and perished felt along the eaves.

The slates were stripped back to expose the valley, new valley boards had to be inset between rafters for the new lead valley to sit flush. New felt (1f) and lath was laid, 15 inch code 4 lead was dressed into the valley before roof was re-slated with reclaimed welsh slate. -
Flat Roof Replacement - FLAT ROOF
Location: SWADLINCOTE, DERBYSHIRE
This flat roof had perished in numerous places, so to bring the roof up to spec the mineral felt was stripped off, insulated with 100mm celotex boarded over and finished with a rubber membrane. All facias were replaced and trims were applied to the flat roof with a high standard finish.

Reroofing Slate Roof - Slate Roof
Location: Burton on Trent
The customer wanted to reuse the slates on the road facing side of the property in-keeping with the authentic look of the property. The original roof was stripped carefully finishing with around 30% breakages. The loft space was fully insulated before covering the roof with breathable membrane.

Replaced all rainwater goods with new deep flow gutter system.
Out house was stripped and re done in new slate which really sets the building off.
